| Bedd Taliesin |

is one of many standing stones in the area. Situated on a single track cul-de-sac a few miles off the A487 behind the village of Taliesin it reputedly marks the grave of the 6th century poet Taliesin but in reality is a Bronze Age (c1500 BC) burial chamber. There are no easy turning places so it is best to go on foot and savour the splendid view of the Dyfi estuary. |
