The National Library of Wales is a leading research centre for Welsh and Celtic interests as well as family history and its collections include almost 5 million books and a million photographs. Exhibitions, both social history and artistic, are held throughout the year and are free to visitors. Visitors are also welcome at the stylish Pen Dinas restaurant and the Library shop which sells a unique range of art, craft and literary items. The newly opened Drwm cinema and auditorium offers a wide range of events, screenings and discussions which are also open to the public. |
